How can I help you? I have a PhD in media studies and work as a senior lecturer and qualitative researcher, but also as a consultant in play, fandom, and gaming trends. Want to connect? That’s great! Reach out in touch in either Dutch or English. Are you press? I’m happy to provide insights, but only if they are credited and if I can review the draft of your piece for factual inconsistencies.

Just wanted to say thanks for your FF8 analysis, I agree with it almost completely πŸ™‚ As a dude who grew up playing this game as well, I never saw Squall as a douche, I saw him like me. No self confidence, it’s a defense mechanism with no education on how to process / deal with trauma.

    Anyway, cheers πŸ™‚
